I was born and raised in Hudson were I attended K-12th grade. After High School I accepted a basketball scholarship to Lon Morris Junior College in Jacksonville, TX. I finished my education at Stephen F. Austin getting a degree in Early Childhood Education. I teach Physical Eduaction @ Peavy Primary and am an assistant basketball coach in junior high & high school. I am happily married to Tony Brown who is also a basketball coach. We have two daughters, Brenom & Kamdyn. I am very greatful to still be apart of Hudson ISD & enjoy my opportunity to give back to the place that gave so much to me.....Hudson. I believe that through Physical Education children are taught life lessons, the most important being to "Always do YOUR BEST!"____________________________________________________________________
I am beginning my third year of teaching and coaching at Hudson ISD. I graduated with honors in 2009 from Texas A&M University-Commerce in Commerce, TX. Along with P.E., I coach middle school girls cross country and assist with high school girls cross country and track. I believe that physical education is an integral part to students overall learning. Health and wellness ensure a child is able to function and learn to the best of their ability. It is a joy to watch children play, grow, and learn each and everyday. |
